Nameplates & Mini Dog Tags
styled by Arika Hanks (@arikahanks)
Tiny Tags are my absolute favorite pieces of jewelry that I own! They are so special, each in their own way, but they all work and wear together so well too! I have a handful of pieces that I like to wear individually, pair with each other, or stack all together.
I have the gold vermeil mini dog tags with my babies names, those are usually the main piece that I always have on and add other pieces to style around it. I love pairing those with my gold nameplates. One says “mommy” and the other says “Hunter”. Sometimes, I’ll style it with just one, other times I’ll add in both, and sometimes I will add in my initial nameplate for a busier, fuller look to my stack.
No matter how I wear them or which ones I have on, it’s both simple but still feels complete & makes a statement. I love that when I have them all on, it’s like our whole family together around my neck!
Lastly, I love to use the necklet to keep them from tangling! It definitely comes in handy the more you add to your stack.

Mini Dog Tags

As we decided to close this last chapter for our family, our bookend baby, we knew it was going to be a very big decision and moment. I wanted to get something that was sentimental and unique to our last chapter of pregnancy. I wanted a timeless piece that reminded me how my journey started, with my beautiful husband on our wedding day, and the number of babies we brought to earth together to magnify our love and dedication to our family.
These “puppy tags” as my Lenny calls them, have been such a tender reminder to me in my journey of motherhood and something I will cherish forever. They truly make such a breathtaking gift and monumental reminder of life’s most important moments.

Reflection Coin Pendant, Initials, and Chokers

Mix, Match, Stack - One of the most prominent accessorizing trends of the season is layering -- stacking necklaces of delicate chains and meaningful mementos that make signature style statements. Pair the coin pendant with sentimental charms, initials, or birthstones to build your own personal jewelry story.
Harmony and The Balance of 3 - If you fancy organization, find balance by layering 3 necklaces. Start with a short chain or choker; add a sentimental charm, bar, or birthstone pendant necklace; followed by the longest necklace with a more substantial piece, such as the coin pendant. There should be cohesion between the lengths of the necklaces - falling somewhat close together while leaving space between each chain to create visual interest.
Neck-Mess - It’s all about a maximalist sensibility – more-is-more approach and having fun! Play with shapes, sizes, and proportions. Don’t be afraid to mix metals or try unexpected combinations; something surprising often works best. Layer pretty, delicate chains and charms with textured chains and medallions. Try longer necklaces over short ones; create a chic sentimental mess of chains.
Tip: Let this statement shine, keep your other jewelry to a minimum. And don’t forget when removing necklaces, to do so with care as delicate chains can sometimes tangle.

Bar Necklace & Bracelet
styled by Danielle Desantis (@danielledesantis)
I chose the Skinny Bar Necklace because I wanted the longer version of my kids’ first names together on a piece since they’re both mostly called by their nicknames. I don’t take my bar necklace off!
I style the Gold Skinny Bar Necklace with casual outfits and athleisure every day, which makes it even more cool that it stands out with a more elevated night time look as well. I loved to stack it with longer gold chains and pieces for daytime chic beach or brunch on vacation in Florida. It looks beautiful and elegant with a single stone shorter necklace at night time too!
I chose the matching bracelets for Stellalou and me because she’s my star (Stella means star) and I wanted something sweet for our first matching pieces together.
Once Stellalou is bigger, I know we’ll style the bracelets as a stack with other bracelets for formal occasions. It feels like a very special piece to me.
