SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER - | Part or Full Time/ Remote

Tiny Tags is a small, woman-owned e-comm business that designs and creates fine, personalized jewelry exclusively for moms. Tiny Tags’ mission is to celebrate the precious gift of a child and each woman's unique journey of motherhood. We are a company built on community, collaboration and respect.  We are currently hiring a Social Media Manager to manage and grow our social channels. The ideal person would bring enthusiasm, energy, out of the box thinking and a track record of successful initiatives to this exciting opportunity.

Job Description

The Social Media Manager position is part time ( 25-30 hrs a week) and will be located in Acton, MA. This position will be responsible for bringing the Tiny Tags brand to life on social media through engaging and creative content. This position will be part of the Marketing team and play a critical role in growing and developing the Tiny Tags brand on existing channels and exploring new and emerging channels. 

What You'll Be Doing

-Create and manage a monthly social calendar, leading a weekly social planning meeting across all social platforms, including, but not limited to Instagram (Feed, Stories, Live, Reels), Facebook, Youtube and Pinterest.

-Explore and research new and emerging platforms and find creative and interesting content/campaigns for Tiny Tags in these channels while maintaining the integrity of the Tiny Tags brand.

-Manage and facilitate social media community by responding to social media posts and communication with customers via DM, messages or comments.

-Responsible for content creation across all social channels including, but not limited to, working with influencers for photos/content, booking instagram live guests /webinar guests or ig takeovers.

-Work with the internal marketing department and product development to ensure photo shoots include necessary photos/ content based on social calendar 3-6 months in advance. Staying in the know of all social holidays and events and ensuring content is created ahead of time.

-Oversee social influencer campaigns—seek and build relationships with influencers that align with the Tiny Tags brand and determine long term strategy and content creation.

-Oversee all brands collaborations - seek and build relationships with brands that align with the Tiny Tags brand for giveaways, product recommendations and collaborations.

-Consistently seek out/build relationships with a network of social content creators, editors or celebrities for brand & product marketing partnerships

-Research current and upcoming social media trends and stay 'in the know'

-Analyze metrics to determine content performance and engagement.

-Support all marketing initiatives and brainstorm ideas to amplify larger marketing campaigns that make sense for the social landscape, and lead social-first activations outside of brand marketing campaigns to foster community engagement and reinforce the Tiny Tags brand-ethos.

-Gather and highlight relevant competitive activity in order to learn from them and apply those insights to our own channels.

-Develop social activations that further contribute to our overall marketing objectives-

-Manage the social media budget for: giveaways, collaborations, influencer marketing, etc

Qualifications

-MUST have a minimum of 3 to 5 years social media experience preferably at DTC brand.  Experience in the mom space is a big plus.

-College degree or equivalent

-Passion for storytelling, building relationships  and content creation that engages community through social media

-Proven track record of eg increasing engagement, creating original content, supporting the marketing team to reach objectives 

-Understanding of brand-appropriate language and ability to follow brand guidelines

-Comfortable and enjoys being on camera for instagram stories or other platforms.
