Every Man’s Guide to Being Romantic on Valentine’s Day
Hi guys, Melissa here, Founder and CEO of Tiny Tags. You all know I love chatting to our moms every day, but this is post a is a little different, it's for the men! Valentine's Day is coming up and I am going to let you in on a secret; romance does not have to be complicated! For most women romance does not involve getting whisked away to a weekend in Paris strolling along the Seine River or reservations at the best restaurant in town. In fact, it is often just the opposite. Most women appreciate the simple gestures of romance - we just want to know you are thinking of us. Mike and I have been married for nearly 20 years. And we work together, which is no easy feat! Here are a few things we've learned along the way. So if you're lucky enough to be reading this, you can thank me later. Without further ado: 5 things you can do this Valentine’s Day that will melt your partner's heart.
1. Slow dance in the kitchen to your wedding song or her favorite song. Think you can’t dance? Doesn’t matter! Remember, this is about her, so just sway if you have to. Bonus move: ask her if she wants to put on her wedding dress? Yes, this is something I like to do as you can see above.
2. Give her a journal and write a letter telling her what she means to you. Bonus move: leave it on her bed on Valentine’s day morning, this shows you have thought about her the night before.
3. Surprise her with a custom Tiny Tags engraved with your wedding date or a special meaning. Need help? We are here for you! Order by 2/1 for custom pieces. After that, we still have plenty of beautiful options that are in stock and ready to ship. 4. Dust off your wedding video! If it is on a VHS or disc, get it put on an updated platform so you can actually watch it. Bonus move: set the mood - light candles, open a bottle of win and have her walk in and hit play.
5. Prepare her a meal. Yes, you can do this! Order in if you have to, just don’t make her cook on Valentine’s Day. If you want to cook here are some simple, easy recipes https://www.purewow.com/food/valentines-day-dinner-ideas.
