222: What It Means to Karah
Every so often, our phone rings and it isn’t a question about an order, but someone who simply wants to say thank you. A few weeks ago, we got one of those calls.
On the other end was a proud grandmother calling about her granddaughter, Karah. Karah started playing soccer when she was just 4 years old and has worn the number 2 from the very beginning. To celebrate her first season, her grandpa gave her a 222 charm necklace, and it quickly became her thing. She wore it to every practice, every game, and every season that followed.
Over the years, that necklace went through a lot. The original eventually broke, and the replacements they found either faded or broke too. Her grandmother looked into gold, but with prices so high, it just wasn’t realistic. They spent months searching for a 222 necklace that was dainty, beautiful, and made to last, and that’s when they found Tiny Tags. “It was so perfect,” she told us.
Karah finally has her number back, and she’s bringing it with her to college, where she’s now playing for her school.
