Key to My Heart

I ordered the Key Necklace with my children’s initials on one side, and their birthdates on the other. I chose the key because to me, my children are truly the key to my heart — they changed my life the moment they were born.

The front of the key holds three letters: J, A, and A. The J is for Juan, my first baby who made me a mom. The first A is for Andres, and the second A is for Ariana, my twins who completed our family in the most beautiful way. Each initial represents not just their name, but their personality, their laughter, and the way they have shaped me into the mother I am today.

On the back of the key are the numbers 29 and 30. Juan was born on April 29th, the day my world changed forever. My twins, Andres and Ariana, were born on October 30th, a day that doubled my joy and multiplied my love. Those dates are more than numbers — they are the days I met the greatest loves of my life.

As a mom, I carry so many responsibilities, but this necklace allows me to physically carry a piece of them with me everywhere I go. Whether I’m at work, running errands, or just having a busy day, touching the necklace reminds me of my “why.” It grounds me and fills me with gratitude.

The key felt so symbolic — motherhood unlocked a new version of me. A stronger, more patient, more loving version. This piece isn’t just jewelry; it’s a reflection of my journey as a mother and the deep, unconditional love I have for my children.
