Brianne Manz: Stroller In The City
This week we chatted with mom and blogger/writer, Brianne Manz from Stroller In The City
TINY TAGS: Your blog, Stroller in the City, covers fashion, travel, gear and motherhood. What is your favorite subject to talk about?
BRIANNE: I have to say, Travel is my favorite subject because it captures my family all together completely present with each other. And since travel involves fashion, gear, AND motherhood, I get to touch on everything.
TINY TAGS: How has your blog changed as your kids have gotten older?
BRIANNE: The posts are more interesting and more personal to me. They are more involved. I have so much more to write about since my children are so different from each other. I still cover plenty of baby stuff, but now I can open up about my relationship with my children and celebrate the little people they are becoming.
TINY TAGS: What do you love most about NYC and where is your favorite place to go?
BRIANNE: I love that I am constantly falling in love with NYC. I feel so lucky that every time I turn around, I discover a new aspect of each neighborhood. NYC is so rich in culture and creativity. I love visiting galleries and museums, but my favorite place might be Central Park. It feels like another world, but then you pick your head up and see the city surrounding you.
TINY TAGS: How do you manage work and family life?
BRIANNE: I try to work around my kids’ schedule or involve them in blog events and activities. We get to spend time together and I can still get work done. Of course, my family comes first, but sometimes I get bogged down and need help. My family lives nearby and we have a fantastic babysitter.
TINY TAGS: What has been your greatest joy in being a mom?
BRIANNE: Watching my kids grow into three totally different and unique little people is my greatest joy. My husband and I use the same parenting strategy with all three kids, but they are totally their own individuals.
TINY TAGS: What does the future hold for Stroller in the City?
BRIANNE: I hope to incorporate more video and visual elements. I’d love to expand with brand collaborations—maybe a shop? Who knows.
TINY TAGS: Lastly, what does your Tiny Tags mean to you?
BRIANNE: My Tiny Tags represent my children and the journey of motherhood.
