30 Years of Friendship

Our close group of friends was getting ready to hit a milestone—our 50th birthdays. I had an idea for us all to gift each other the same piece of jewelry. I was looking for a classic piece that could be personalized with our eight initials and the year we met. I found exactly what I was hoping for with Tiny Tags. 

The Circle Pendant necklace was a surprise for the first recipient on her birthday in June of 2022. The last two of the eight friends patiently waited until December of 2023 to receive their necklaces.

We came together in the fall of 1992 in the same pledge class for Alpha Chi Omega at the University of Rhode Island. We shared many laughs and experiences together at college. However our bond became even tighter after our college years. 

For more than three decades, we’ve been there for each other during life’s moments - the joyful and the challenging ones. Some of the happiest times have been trips together, first to Puerto Rico, then South Carolina, a few trips to New Hampshire, and most recently the Bahamas. We meet up as often as possible, taking time from busy schedules, with dinner dates and visits in between Boston and Narragansett, RI. 

Through group text, we stay in touch frequently sharing funny videos, advice on raising kids, and recalling fun memories. We motivate each other whether it’s about a professional goal or an exercise plan. When someone is having a tough day, this group brings humor and shoulders to lean on. 

Thank you, Tiny Tags! We could not be more pleased about our Circle Pendant necklaces (4 friends chose it in sterling silver and 4 in gold). It’s the perfect piece for us to wear and think of each other, and celebrate the lifelong friendship of E, M, S, C, K, D, M, J
