Growing up I always dreamed of two things: Being a mom and meeting my husband at Clemson. My necklace from Tiny Tags represents those childhood dreams come true.
Our story began nine years ago when I met my husband during our sophomore year at Clemson University. In 2022, I married my best friend and we looked forward to the next chapter. Over the next couple of years we hoped to expand our family but as time went on we started to wonder when our time would come. In 2025, during our third year of marriage we found out we were going to become a family of three.
As a first time mom, I knew I wanted a piece to symbolize this new chapter in our story. After welcoming our sweet boy, I decided on the Mini Dog Tag which allowed me to carry both his name and the time he was born with me always. It was also important to have a piece to represent my husband and the Mini Pavé Initial was the perfect addition!
I wear my tiny tags every day and each time I see my baby hold onto the charms I’m transported right back to 9:09 - the moment our first baby was born, the moment my husband announced the gender, the moment our lives changed forever. This is a piece I cherish and can’t wait to add on to in the future.
