I have the Gold Skinny Bar Necklace and it is one of my favorite pieces of jewelry! I originally chose this style because I was looking to add a new necklace to my stack and I previously had a bar necklace from my ex boyfriend that I wore everyday. I wanted to find a new necklace to replace it that had the similar bar style that I love, but that represented the love I had for myself and my life on my own.
I chose to get "new york city" engraved on the front with New York City's coordinates engraved on the back. For as long as I can remember, it has always been my dream to move to New York City and work for a magazine. When getting this necklace I was at a Tiny Tags press event in Manhattan, covering the brand for a magazine I worked at — talk about a full circle moment!
I love to style my Skinny Bar Necklace with two other necklaces/charms I own, and with both turtleneck sweaters and v-neck tops. The stacked necklaces add a trend-forward accessory component to my final look without taking too much attention away from the full outfit, such as a chunky necklace would.
