I just received my necklace and I couldn’t be happier. I wanted something small but elegant and this is definitely just that! I ordered it with a gift message as well. This was where I was left wanting more. They took so much care packaging the necklace that they neglected the presentation of the gift message.
It arrived in a 4x6x2 box which is great! Inside was a smaller 3x3x1.75 box with a lid and inside that was a simple clamshell jewelry box fit perfectly inside that 3x3 box. The only thing protecting this was some folded tissue paper (not a huge deal for me). However, since I ordered a gift message with it, I was surprised to see that the give message was a 4x6 postcard like paper just sitting on top of everything in the large box. Under that was the carefully designed “this is us” readable with a polishing cloth. Under everything, inside the tissue paper, was the packing sheet. If there’s a gift message in the box like that, how do they expect me to present that? The polishing cloth looks like it can fit inside the 3x3 box that has a lid, so why not have the gift message do the same thing sitting on top of the clam shell box? That’s a big suggestion I have so that you can present the smaller 3x3 box with the gift message and polishing cloth with the necklace without the beat up shipping box and, due to it being shipped with lots of empty space in the box, beat up gift message as well.
I love the product and the business, but packaging beyond the jewelry was not given…
