An Indescribable Tug
I met my husband 12 years ago as a friend of a friend at a little get together he was having at his house, and right from the start I knew he was someone very special. When he stopped me at the door, I felt an indescribable tug; I knew then we'd either be best friends or lovers, it was that electrifying.
Spoiler Alert: we're BOTH.
After about a year of river dates, music festivals and chef nights with our late friend Timmy, we made it official and moved in together. We've now been married over 7 years, and have three wonderful boys: ages 7, 4 and 10 months old. We've worked hard and taught ourselves skills we never would have thought possible while remodeling our first home, which we then sold to purchase this one. We currently live on a 12-acre homestead with our cat, two dogs, chickens and a goat, and we enjoy working on projects, raising our boys, and winding down with video games. He's an amazing father and partner, and together we make the best team. I feel so blessed to have a soulmate that grows with and strengthens me and I can't imagine my life without him.
August 28th, 2012 is the day we met and the start of our crazy, fun adventure. It will forever be one of the best days of my life, and my Tiny Tags stack is a stunning symbol of that day and our incredible journey together. Our initials "k + s" are engraved on a Mini Dog Tag and next to it glistens "08.28.12" on a Pavé Date charm. It's just as beautiful as our story and I thank God every day for bringing us together.
