Respect the Spritz!

It’s a mantra and a lifestyle!  I turned 60 and my kids surprised me with an amazing birthday party, which was wonderful and full of all the things I love (mostly my people). It was over the top fun, and people from all of my life showed up. It's hard to find the words of appreciation for the planning that went into it! But it did not end there. They topped the untoppable with a “gift” which was a trip to Europe to see art, architecture, and ALL the food. Though it was planned by all my kids, we made it a girls trip with me and my daughters. We saw Venice, Florence, and Paris... I mean have you seen Venice?! It’s amazing. We saw the glass artisans in Murano, wineries, the statue of David, the Duomo, and amazing fish markets.

 My first Aperol Spritz was also in Italy - which is what inspired the necklaces I ordered. We found our mantra with “respect the spritz” which is what I put on our matching Gold Skinny Bar Necklaces. These have been absolutely perfect for commemorating this special occasion and memory. I personalized each of them with something additional on the back! When in Europe you should adopt the lifestyle, and we sure did! We did not find a spritz or gelato we didn’t like. When we were not sure if we could have a treat or another appetizer before dinner, the resounding answer was always “RESPECT THE SPRITZ." 

Life is about celebrating the 'lil treats and all the love you can find. I have an abundance of all that in my life! We ended the trip appropriately so - in Paris, the city of love, to see Taylor Swift! Being a “sixty-swiftie” was something I did not know I needed in life, but it was clearly the best way to end the trip. Seeing and experiencing all these moments with my girls will never be topped, but what a way to remember them!
