My Ride or Die

As someone who always loved animals, I always knew I wanted a pet of my own to raise. And after a long freshman year of college ending with a depression & anxiety diagnosis, it's clear my sweet pup came at the perfect time. 

Nibblet was a rescue who I found from a local foster rescue agency. Her mother's owners actually didn't even know their dog was pregnant! The mom gave birth in the middle of winter outside, and sadly Nibblet was the only surviving pup.

I met her and immediately knew she was my baby. She was only 8 weeks old when I adopted her, and since then she has been with me through multiple boyfriends, different jobs, major mental health ups and downs, my alcoholism, and now has moved with me to Kansas to start a new chapter in my life. She is my absolute ride or die.  

I wanted to get a special necklace for Nibblet, which ironically enough brought me to the Mini Dog Tag Necklace. I often see that lots of moms will get their baby's name engraved on it, which actually felt very fitting because for me, my dog is my child. She has been with me for almost 8 years and has been through my highs, lows, and everything in between. 

I got her nickname “nibs" engraved on the front with a heart, as I’ve always felt like we share a soul in a way. She has always been there for me and she is my baby girl! It means so much that I get to wear her name around my neck everyday and tell people about her every time they ask about my necklace.
